Tokom letnje sezone do 10 nedeljnih letova između Beograda i SAD
Er Srbija će tokom predstojeće letnje sezone povećati broj letova do Njujorka i od 18. juna do početka septembra leteti sedam puta nedeljno do tog američkog grada, odnosno svakog dana u nedelji. Do sada najveće povećanje u broju nedeljnih letova Er Srbije do Njujorka rezultat je nedavnog proširenja flote za dugolinijski saobraćaj. Pored aviona erbas A330-200 sa likom Nikole Tesle, nacionalna avio-kompanija od novembra prošle godine raspolaže i erbasom A330-200 sa likom Mihajla Pupina.
„Er Srbija do Njujorka leti već sedam godina. Za to vreme broj nedeljnih letova se menjao, ali nikada nije prešao šest. U međuvremenu smo preduzeli niz aktivnosti, od osnaživanja flote do proširenja tima kabinske posade, i zahvaljujući tome sada sa zadovoljstvom možemo da najavimo da ćemo tokom leta do Njujorka leteti svakodnevno,“ kaže Džordž Petković, regionalni direktor Er Srbije za Severnu i Južnu Ameriku.
Od 2016. godine između Beograda i Njujorka Er Srbijom je letelo više od 460.000 putnika. To je jedna od najtraženijih destinacija u mreži nacionalnog avio-prevoznika. Tokom zimske sezone, Er Srbija je između Beograda i Njujorka letela tri puta nedeljno, utorkom, četvrtkom i nedeljom.
Od 17. maja 2023. godine Er Srbija će uspostaviti i direktne, redovne letove između Beograda i Čikaga, i tako nastaviti da širi svoje poslovanje na tržištu Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Do 11. juna letovi do aerodroma O’Her (ORD) obavljaće se dva puta nedeljno, sredom i subotom, a od 12. juna tri puta nedeljno i to ponedeljkom, sredom i subotom. Karte se mogu kupiti putem veb sajta, mobilne aplikacije, kao i u poslovnicama Er Srbije, a prodaja je za sada premašila očekivanja, s obzirom na to da je reč o potpuno novoj liniji.
Povećanjem broja letova između Beograda i Njujorka, kao i uvođenjem letova do Čikaga, srpska nacionalna avio-kompanija će tokom predstojeće letnje sezone nuditi do 10 nedeljnih letova između glavnog grada Srbije i Severne Amerike.
Zahvaljujući partnerstvu Er Srbije sa kompanijom Ameriken erlajns omogućena su i jednostavnija putovanja iz Beograda, preko Njujorka i Čikaga, do istočne i zapadne američke obale, čime nacionalna avio-kompanija putnicima pruža još bolju povezanost Srbije, regiona i Evrope sa različitim destinacijama širom SAD.

Up to 10 weekly flights between Belgrade and the USA during summer season
AIR SERBIA TO FLY TO NEW YORK SEVEN TIMES A WEEK
During the upcoming summer season, Air Serbia will increase the number of flights to New York, and from 18 June until the beginning of September, it will fly to this American city seven times a week, daily. Air Serbia’s biggest increase in the number of weekly flights to New York to date is the result of the recent expansion of its long-haul fleet. In addition to the Airbus A330-200 aircraft bearing the image of Nikola Tesla, as of November last year, the national airline has also been using an Airbus A330-200 bearing the image of Mihajlo Pupin.
“Air Serbia has been flying to New York for seven years now. During this time, the number of weekly flights changed, but it never exceeded six. In the meantime, we have undertaken a series of activities, from strengthening our fleet to expanding our cabin crew team, and thanks to that, we can now proudly announce that we will be operating flights to New York every day, all summer long,” said George Petkovic, Air Serbia’s Vice President Americas.
Since 2016, more than 460,000 passengers have been carried on Air Serbia’s Belgrade-New York flights. It is one of the most popular destinations in the national airline’s network. During the winter season, Air Serbia operated flights between Belgrade and New York three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Starting on 17 May 2023, Air Serbia will commence scheduled direct flights between Belgrade and Chicago, thus continuing its expansion in the United States market. In the period until 12 June, flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) will be operated two times a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and as of 12 June, three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets are available for purchase on the website, via the mobile app, as well as in Air Serbia’s stores, and ticket sales have already surpassed expectations, considering that this is a completely new route.
By increasing the number of flights between Belgrade and New York, and by commencing flights to Chicago, during the upcoming summer season, the Serbian national airline will offer up to 10 weekly flights between the capital of Serbia and North America.
Thanks to Air Serbia’s partnership with American Airlines, simpler trips from Belgrade, via New York and Chicago, to the east and west coasts of the United States are possible, which enables the national airline to provide its passengers with even better connectivity between Serbia, the region and Europe and different destinations all across the U.S.
